Attended a self-funded developer training program in order to further current skills and gain further knowledge of development in the industry. Acquired understanding of frontend and backend development that aided in the production of this portfolio website and projects that utilize new skills acquired such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and ASP.Net.

Taken time for personal study to enhance IT skills and review future career roles and also due to health reasons.

I am now work-ready as my health, confidence and self-esteem has improved. The journey has been one of self-development and I am committed and excited to resume my career. I am pursuing an opportunity where I can add value and make a contribution to an organisation as I have done in the past and am happy and open to discuss this further upon interview and answer any questions.

Worked for a world-renowned electronics company.

  • Samsung Bixby Testing – Quality Assurance, Performance & Machine Learning testing on Samsung's own intelligence assistant
  • Responsible for completing 200 – 500 test cases per day providing feedback to developers
  • Experience in application testing including embedded applications, contents testing, exploratory testing and UI function testing
  • Interoperability testing with network operators and SIM card manufacturers
  • Provided feedback on interface usability and phone design concepts, discussing defects and other issues that might arise
  • Logging test results and forwarding them to international developers in other branches.
  • Contributed to monthly progress and test reports

Work Experience

DWP Jobcentre Plus, March 2017 – May 2017

Gained valuable work experience, working alongside a team of job coaches.

  • Supporting customer-facing staff by working with over 30 benefit claimants a day from a broad range of backgrounds.
  • Aided claimants to register accounts on Universal Jobmatch, including setting up email accounts, and developing their job-searching skills.
  • Liaised with JCP (Job center plus) floor manager and work coaches in reference to signposting and benefits of claimants
  • Logged and managed IT equipment use by claimants
  • Improved JCP system allowing claimants to gain access to questionnaires for JCP data collection regarding improvements to computer accessibility.

Data Entry

Hinduja Global Solutions, May 2016 – May 2016

A five-week job involving transfer of data from an outdated system to a new database.

  • Discovered an error in web browser which once addressed allowed for smoother system functioning, speeding up the process of data entry allowing the task to be completed in half the time.
  • Maintained and updated customer records, ensuring input accuracy of data when transferring information between bespoke databases
  • Used a computer database to record and retrieve customers' details or to find specialist information
  • Processed 400 -800 data entries a day
